Water jet nozzle

Cemented carbide water cutter sand pipe is the sand mixing pipe in high pressure water cutting equipment cutting (sand cutting). Mainly used for metal cutting, ceramic cutting, stone cutting, glass cutting and other material’s cutting.

In the cutting process of high pressure water cutting equipment, the water and sand flows out through the nozzle made of cemented carbide. Because the pressure of the water cutting machine is relatively high, about 200Mpa-420Mpa, and the mixing speed of water and sand is very fast, about 800-1000m/s, the material used for the nozzle is the cemented carbide material with ultra-high wear resistance and ultra-fine grain size.

Structure:

The structure of the sand pipe is very simple. It is basically composed of two sections, i.e. conical inlet and columnar outlet,dimensions are slightly different when it used for different purposes, as the figure shows.
